Treatment Philosophy and Focus
Julie has over 20 years of experience working with individual, couples and groups with a variety of mental health concerns. Julie’s approach is holistic and collaborative and she believes in supporting wellness and healing. She works with clients to form a strength based orientation of mutual respect, building a caring therapeutic environment to support her client’s growth toward their own goals in life.

Education and Experience
Julie obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Norwich University in Vermont. She has 3 additional Master’s Degrees and holds a certification as an addictions counselor (CAADC). She has worked in an outpatient setting, providing counseling for individuals and groups. She is a Limited Licensed Psychologist in the state of Michigan. She has facilitated Domestic Violence Batterer’s and Victims interventions for 26 years.
