Treatment Philosophy and Focus
Lorin utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, relaxation/meditation skills, and a somatic psychology focus to treat emotional distress and to increase healthy life coping strategies. As a healthcare professional, Lorin provides a safe and caring environment to collaborate with clients, along with enthusiasm and a deep appreciation of the therapeutic process.

Education and Experience
Lorin is a licensed therapist who has extensive experience in the behavioral health and holistic health fields. Her education includes a Masters degree from Western Michigan University in Counseling Psychology, with a specialty graduate certification in Holistic Health. She has over 15 years of experience working within substance abuse and community mental health facilities, along with over 25 years working as a holistic health practitioner and energy work therapist in private practice. Lorin was trained in holistic health and shiatsu bodywork at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing and The School of Healing Arts in San Diego, CA, and is a second- degree certified Reiki practitioner.
