Lauri Rowe, M.A., LPC, LMT, CST-D
Lauri has over 30 years of working with individuals and groups concerning a variety of mental health issues. Individuals aged 13 through adult have benefited from seeing Lauri for transitional life issues and working through grief, loss and traumas.
Treatment Philosophy and Focus
Lauri’s approach to therapy has evolved over the years and she has a whole person focus when working alongside individuals who seek to become clear about their emotional reactions to life situations. Facilitating a state of awareness becomes the focus of therapy with unconditional support and compassion being therapeutic tools used during individual, group and family sessions. Lauri accesses unique techniques having been shown to empower the people she has had the opportunity to work with.
Education and Experience
Lauri obtained both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She also has a diploma from Health Enrichment Center in Lapeer, MI in massage therapy and has a Diplomat Certification in CranioSacral and Somatoemotinal Release Therapies from the Upledger Institute of West Palm Beach, FL.
She has worked in state hospital settings, community mental health and outpatient centers, acute psychiatric hospitals, residential programs and many private practices.
Lauri is a Michigan Licensed Professional Counselor and also holds a Michigan license as a massage therapist which supports her somatoemotional release work.
Lauri works with individuals aged 13 through adults and families. She works with people who are dealing with life transitions, grief, loss, health concerns, trauma survival, and many of the emotional responses that contribute to imbalances in the ability to live life to the fullest.
