Bonnie has been working in the mental health field for over 30 years. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings, and for the past 12 years, she has worked in clinics providing services to individuals, couples, and families.
Treatment Philosophy & Focus
Bonnie believes most people come to therapy wanting to make changes and move forward, finding solutions to their problems. She facilitates that process by providing support and developing strategies. She provides solution-focused therapy as well as an ongoing supportive approach.
Education & Experience
Bonnie graduated from State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1991. She has been working with individuals and groups since 1982. She is a Licensed Masters of Social Work in Michigan and is a Certified Prevention Specialist in the State of Florida.
Bonnie works with most mental health and substance abuse issues and concerns. She works with individuals from 13 years to adult, couples, and families. She is experienced with most issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and substance abuse. She works with families who are affected by substance abuse, grief and loss, gender identity, and LBGTQ concerns.
