Bonnie graduated from State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1991. She has been working with individuals and groups since 1982. She is a Licensed Masters of Social Work in Michigan and is a Certified Prevention Specialist in the State of Florida.

She is experienced with most issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and substance abuse. She works with families who are affected by substance abuse, grief and loss, gender identity, and LBGTQ concerns.
