Michele Pischea , LLP, CAADC

Wellness matters. Wellness first.

Michele has worked in the mental health field for over 15 years and works with individuals, families, and couples. She sees clients ages 15 and older.

Treatment Philosophy & Focus

Michele’s approach is collaborative, holistic and growth-oriented, believing in the importance of building on people’s strengths, successes and positive experiences, while acknowledging and addressing the influences of the past. She’s oriented to the development of a supportive, caring, and honest relationship based on mutual respect and fostering a therapeutic environment that allows individuals to achieve their personally established goals. With her support, clients begin to identify and strengthen their motivation for change, thus approaching change in a manner congruent with their personal values, creating a foundation for sustaining these changes.

Education & Experience

Michele earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Michigan State University and a Master’s Degree from Center for Humanistic Studies in Psychology (Now Michigan School of Professional Psychology). She is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) through the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals. Her clinical acumen was established through working with dual-diagnosis clients at in-patient treatment facilities. Additionally, group and individual work, through intensive outpatient programs, laid the foundation for a successful private practice over the last decade.
