Stephanie is a licensed social worker who has been working in the field for about 10 years. She works with teens through seniors. Stephanie specializes in oncology issues, postpartum depression, domestic violence and family relationships conflicts.

Stephanie’s treatment philosophy is to meet the person where they are in their life and explore where they would like to see themselves in the future. She works together with the client to find a path to help them meet their counseling goals utilizing strength based and cognitive behavioral approaches. Everyone’s experiences and goals are unique, therefore their journey to better mental health is too.
Education & Experience
Stephanie graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She obtained her master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University. Stephanie has a background working with mental health across several settings. Previous work has included domestic violence, emergency room mental health, crisis intervention services and oncology issues. She works with individuals and families.
Stephanie has experience working in hospital settings, and private practice as well as community agencies.
