Dr. Diane Snyder, Psy.D, is a limited licensed counseling psychologist with a distinguished 15-year career dedicated to working with children, teens, and families. A graduate of Carlow University, Diane has specialized in providing compassionate and effective care, helping her clients navigate the complexities of mental health and developmental challenges.  Diane also serves as a fulltime psychology professor at Lansing Community College.

Her approach is characterized by a deep commitment to fostering resilience and emotional well-being in children and adolescents, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and family dynamics.

In her practice, Diane emphasizes the importance of a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment. She works closely with families, offering guidance and strategies to strengthen relationships and improve communication. Her expertise in family therapy has been instrumental in helping families build healthier, more harmonious connections.

Education & Experience

Diane earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in child development from San Diego State University.  She earned her Master’s degree in counseling psychology from National University and her Psy.D degree in Counseling Psychology from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA.  Diane completed her APA accredited predoctoral internship at the Watson Institute in Sewickley, PA as the autism specialist intern.  Diane completed her postdoctoral residency at Carnegie Mellon University’s Counseling and Psychological Services center.
