Tynesha has worked with adults and adolescents in individual and group settings with substance use and abuse. She has gained many years of experience working with youth with developmental disabilities and emotional disturbances in a school setting as well as in non-profit agencies. She has worked with youth in teen court and with families involved in the foster care system.

She focuses on self-determination with the belief that individuals can change and progress if they truly have the desire. Her goal is to use a blend of evidenced-based therapeutic techniques to provide each client with a unique therapy plan tailored to their individual needs.

Education & Experience

Tynesha received her BA in Psychology as well as her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. During her Masters studies, she participated in the trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Certificate Program. She is a certified advanced drug and alcohol counselor (CAADC).
